About the Role

Our client, a prominent leader within Singapore's industry landscape and a purpose-driven social enterprise, is seeking to appoint a Chief Corporate Development Officer. This position directly partners with the Chief Executive Officer to shape and steer enterprise-wide strategy, governance, and execution. Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the CEO's strategic partner, ensuring alignment and governance across all business units.
  • Manage Board and executive governance processes, and coordinate leadership priorities effectively.
  • Translate strategic goals into measurable organizational outcomes through corporate scorecards, KPI frameworks, and collaborative strategic budgeting with the Finance team.
  • Implement and uphold rigorous program management to drive execution of critical strategic initiatives.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to optimize organizational performance.
  • Lead the corporate development agenda, including mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and post-merger integrations.
  • Champion initiatives around enterprise AI, innovation, digital transformation, and automation to strengthen organizational capabilities for the future.

Candidate Requirements

  • A minimum of 15 years in senior leadership roles such as corporate development, strategy consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or equivalent executive roles in large organizations.
  • Proven experience collaborating with Boards and senior leadership, leading strategic planning, enterprise-wide transformations, and complex cross-functional projects.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including involvement in M&A deals, corporate finance, budgeting, and performance management.
