Position Summary

Reporting directly to the Mayor and Council, the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) acts as the top administrative leader for the City of Elliot Lake. This officer is accountable for guiding and overseeing all city operations, services, and programs by providing strategic direction and leadership. Serving as the main advisor to Council, the CAO ensures efficient execution of Council decisions and attainment of corporate targets and strategic plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and operational direction for all municipal departments and service delivery.
