CCTV Technician

Job Overview

We seek a competent and dependable CCTV & Networking Technician to become part of our team. The role involves installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining CCTV surveillance systems, networking gear, access control setups, intercom systems, and various security-related equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and service CCTV cameras, NVR/DVR units, and other surveillance tools.
• Handle network cabling tasks including Cat6 wiring and rack installations.
• Configure network hardware such as routers, switches, wireless devices, and IP security solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve issues involving networking, CCTV, and hardware components.
• Install and upkeep access control, intercom, fire alarm, and public address systems.
• Perform site inspections and generate detailed installation documentation.
• Liaise with clients offering technical assistance when necessary.
• Ensure projects and maintenance assignments are completed on schedule.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience ranging from six months to two years in CCTV, Networking, or Security Systems.
• Fundamental understanding of IP Networking, computer hardware, and electrical wiring techniques.
• Proven ability in installing and maintaining CCTV systems.
• Willingness and ability to travel for onsite assignments.
• Effective communication abilities coupled with strong problem-solving skills.
• Preferably holds ITI, Diploma, or a technical qualification.

Desirable Skills

• Expertise in CCTV installation and upkeep.
• Knowledge of IT and enterprise networking principles.
• Familiarity with computer hardware components.
• Competence in electrical installation and wiring.
• Experience with intercom, access control, security, and fire alarm systems.

Compensation

The monthly pay ranges between 10,000 and 17,000 INR.
