Description de l'emploi

About the role

Uniting Lindsay Gardens in Hamilton operates three separate households, with resident groups ranging from 15 to 34 people. One of the households includes a Memory Support Unit for residents living with dementia. The home is focused on creating an environment where people can make choices, feel settled, and experience a genuine sense of home.

In this full-time Catering Coordinator position, you will work Monday to Friday for 76 hours each fortnight. The role offers an hourly rate of up to $42.22, plus superannuation, salary packaging, and additional benefits.

What you will do

You will support older residents through high-quality catering and hotel-style service in a residential aged care setting. Your work will contribute to residents’ comfort, dignity, and independence while helping maintain a welcoming and well-run home.

About you

The ideal candidate brings prior experience in a similar catering-focused role. Experience as a kitchenhand, cleaner, or in community care will also be considered valuable. A Certificate II in Hospitality, or an equivalent qualification, is preferred.

You should be caring, flexible, practical, and able to work in a way that reflects Uniting’s values of compassion, respect, boldness, and creativity.

Benefits

This role comes with a range of employee benefits, including salary packaging of up to $18,550 for not-for-profit staff, access to the U rewards discount program, Fitness Passport, a supportive and inclusive team culture, opportunities for career development, and the option to purchase additional leave.
