Role Overview
We are seeking a Casual Kitchen Attendant / Steward to join the dynamic team at Pullman & Mercure Melbourne Albert Park. In this role, you will assist kitchen operations by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service in both kitchen and staff areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Ensure kitchens and staff areas are stocked with sanitized, clean, and dry operational tools and equipment.
- Handle chemicals and kitchen equipment carefully, following manufacturer guidelines.
- Operate dishwashing machines efficiently.
- Perform deep cleaning duties within the kitchens.
- Store crockery, cutlery, glassware, and equipment hygienically and safely.
Candidate Profile
- Experience working in similar fast-paced, high-volume venues.
- Flexible availability to work rotating shifts including weekends, morning and evening shifts.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment yet capable of independent work.
- Strong commitment to achieving high standards and being results-oriented.
