We are currently seeking career changers for the position of Construction Site Safety Specialist (m/f/d) at DB Fahrwegdienste GmbH located in Gemünden am Main, Schweinfurt, or Würzburg.

Training Program

• Over approximately one year, you will gradually acquire the necessary knowledge and skills for this profession.
• Theoretical instruction is combined with practical sessions, allowing immediate application of learned concepts.
• Experienced colleagues will support you throughout your integration, ensuring a smooth start even if this is a new field for you.
• Theoretical classes are held near your residence whenever possible, and practical assignments mostly take place within your future work region.
• You will receive a secure salary from the beginning of your training.

Post-Training Responsibilities

• You will work collaboratively to ensure nobody is harmed at railway track construction sites.
• You will warn personnel working on the tracks against approaching trains using various signaling methods and modern warning systems.
• You will implement safety regulations and orient new safety personnel.
• Maintaining communication with different stakeholders ensures smooth operations at sites.
• You will independently organize and oversee safety measures at construction locations.

Profile and Requirements

• You must be at least 18 years old with a minimum of a secondary school certificate.
• Previous experience is not mandatory; however, reliability and commitment to safety are essential.
• Liking outdoor work in all weather conditions is important.
• You should confidently communicate in German both verbally and in writing.
• Flexibility is necessary, including willingness to work nights, weekends, and at varying sites.
• Holding a class B driver’s license and having your own vehicle is advantageous but not required.

Applications from already trained construction site safety specialists, safety guards, and supervisors are also welcome.
