Overview

The company serves international enterprise clients by addressing complex issues related to multilingual content, automation, and operational efficiency. The firm seeks a highly motivated Business Development Manager to expand its client base across Germany, EMEA, and CIS regions. This position focuses exclusively on proactive business acquisition rather than relationship maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture a sales pipeline independently from scratch, targeting key accounts through outreach and securing meetings.
- Locate and engage crucial decision-makers involved in Localization, Content, Operations, and Procurement functions.
- Identify and qualify new sales prospects and business opportunities.
- Manage the full sales cycle starting from initial contact through to deal closure.
- Promote solutions emphasizing AI, automation, efficiency, and cost reduction rather than generic services.
- Collaborate closely with pre-sales teams and senior leadership on complex sales deals.
- Ensure complete transparency by documenting pipeline status, sales activities, and forecasts in CRM systems.
Experience and Skills Required
- At least five years of professional experience in B2B business development or sales with a proven hunter profile.
- Track record of consistently generating new business.
- Background in SaaS, MarTech, Customer Experience platforms, content, localization, digital services, or enterprise services involving complex sales cycles.
- Proven ability to independently create and manage a strong sales pipeline without dependence on marketing-generated leads.
- Proficiency in proactive sales approaches including cold outreach.
- Consultative selling skills to effectively discover client pain points and provide tailored solutions.
- A strong sense of ownership, accountability, and adaptability within a rapidly evolving AI-centric market.
Performance Expectations
- Sustained generation of a qualified pipeline including target accounts, outreach efforts, and meetings.
- Development of a qualified sales pipeline valued between c300,000 and c500,000+ within the initial months.
- Strong conversion rates from client meetings to actual sales opportunities.
- Achievement of initial deal closures within the first few months of employment.
