About the Role
This position is for a Business Development Manager based in Guwahati, focused on bringing in new customers from the open market and expanding business through cross-selling of financial and investment products. The role requires active client outreach, relationship building, and consistent delivery against sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Source 7 to 8 fresh clients every month through proactive outreach, networking, and market-level prospecting.
- Promote and sell third-party investment offerings such as SIPs, mutual funds, insurance, and equity products.
- Generate revenue from the full range of products mapped to sourced accounts and support steady business growth.
- Deliver a target of 5 SIPs every month, with each SIP valued at Rs. 2000.
- Develop long-term client relationships by understanding needs and recommending suitable investment options.
- Consistently meet monthly and quarterly targets through disciplined client management and effective cross-selling.
Candidate Profile
- Applicants should have at least 6 months of sales experience in areas such as CASA, insurance, demat accounts, SIPs, or mutual funds.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills are important for engaging clients and building trust.
- A working understanding of broking activities and operations in the financial services space is preferred.
- Experience in the broking sector will be considered an added advantage.
