About the Role

Join Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust to work as a Business Assistant within the Oadby/Wigston & Harborough Neighbourhood Team, supporting community mental health services in South Leicestershire. This role offers a fulfilling opportunity to be part of a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to aiding individuals with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive administrative support within the community healthcare setting.
  • Attend meetings to take detailed minutes, distribute relevant documents, and ensure actions are tracked, prioritized, and followed up.
  • Organize training sessions, appointments, and events including managing travel arrangements and coordinating with guest speakers.
  • Manage diaries for self and others effectively; utilize email communication with an emphasis on systematized flagging and prioritization.
  • Create and format professional documents such as letters, brochures, presentations, reports, and briefings to a high-quality standard.
  • Manage procurement by ordering goods/services, monitoring order progress, verifying received goods/services, and supporting invoice reconciliation.
  • Address complaints by taking initiative to solve issues and escalate when necessary.
