About the Role
Join Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust to work as a Business Assistant within the Oadby/Wigston & Harborough Neighbourhood Team, supporting community mental health services in South Leicestershire. This role offers a fulfilling opportunity to be part of a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to aiding individuals with mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive administrative support within the community healthcare setting.
- Attend meetings to take detailed minutes, distribute relevant documents, and ensure actions are tracked, prioritized, and followed up.
- Organize training sessions, appointments, and events including managing travel arrangements and coordinating with guest speakers.
- Manage diaries for self and others effectively; utilize email communication with an emphasis on systematized flagging and prioritization.
- Create and format professional documents such as letters, brochures, presentations, reports, and briefings to a high-quality standard.
- Manage procurement by ordering goods/services, monitoring order progress, verifying received goods/services, and supporting invoice reconciliation.
- Address complaints by taking initiative to solve issues and escalate when necessary.

Additional Information
- A robust induction, ongoing supervision, and career development support are available.

- All appointments are subject to a 6-month probation period, except medical staff.
- Employment requires legal permission to work in the UK and the cost of any required DBS disclosure will be deducted from salary after employment commences.
