Overview
We are searching for a collaborative team member to engage with company data across various business divisions. The candidate will be key in reporting metrics, evaluating methodologies, proposing operational enhancements, and constructing proposal assessments within a multidisciplinary setting.
Role Responsibilities
- Act as Avaloq Business Analyst/Product Owner, steering the successful execution of Location Strategy initiatives within stipulated plans, budgets, quality, and governance standards.
- Lead the advancement of our digital environment by fostering innovation and superior practices.
- Take ownership and coordinate comprehensive requirements collection from start to finish.
- Document business, functional, and non-functional requirements thoroughly while modeling business processes and managing acceptance and signoff procedures.
- Develop deliverables adhering to quality norms and timelines.
- Collaborate with business partners to quickly build domain knowledge and challenge requirements effectively.
- Rapidly acquire expertise in Avaloq platform and affiliated applications.
- Understand Wealth Management and Investment Banking domains to conduct end-to-end business requirement analysis.
- Provide functional support to testing, development teams, and business users.
- Review test scenarios, cases, participate in defect analysis, and coordinate UAT and regression testing to ensure timely approvals.
Required Skills and Experience
- Over 7 years of Business Analyst experience in Wealth Management and Investment Banking sectors.
- Hands-on knowledge of banking products with experience in Avaloq or alternative core banking solutions like Finacle, T24, BaNCS.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle.
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Service Now, and Agile methodologies is advantageous.
- Comprehensive understanding of financial services operations in multifaceted business and architecture contexts.
- In-depth knowledge across multiple functional banking modules including security trading, order management, settlement, corporate actions, credit, and payments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
