Business Analyst Intern

About the Role

We are seeking a curious and detail-oriented Business Analytics Intern to join a rapidly expanding stealth startup. This position affords the opportunity to closely collaborate with founding team members and gain valuable practical experience in interpreting data, crafting dashboards, and enabling data-driven decision making in a dynamic, high-impact setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, clean, and analyze both structured and unstructured datasets
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends and patterns
• Create and manage dashboards and reports to generate actionable business insights
• Develop efficient SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation
• Support the formulation of key performance indicators and business metrics
• Work collaboratively with product, marketing, and other business units
• Deliver insights clearly and in an actionable format

Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled or recently graduated in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proficient with Excel or Google Sheets
• Basic SQL skills
• Familiar with Python libraries such as Pandas and NumPy or equivalent tools
• Understanding of data visualization platforms like Tableau or Power BI
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities

• Experience working with real-world data or analytics projects
• Knowledge of business metrics and performance monitoring
• Exposure to A/B testing or statistical techniques
• Familiarity with startup or fast-paced environments
