About the Role

This full-time position based in Toronto, ON, requires a Business System Analyst with over seven years of experience, specifically within Canadian insurance and wealth management sectors. The role focuses on interpreting complex business requirements into clear technological solutions and enhancing delivery clarity to ensure measurable business outcomes within the Canadian financial services landscape.

Key Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for bridging the domain-specific knowledge of insurance and wealth management with technology implementations, facilitating stakeholder engagements, and contributing to executive-level communications.

Required Experience and Technical Expertise

• Minimum of 7 years as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst.
• Practical experience in Canadian insurance and/or wealth management domains.
• Understanding of products such as Group Benefits, Claims, Life Insurance, Investment Products, RRSP, TFSA, Portfolio Management, and Client Onboarding processes.
• Familiarity with Canadian regulatory frameworks including OSFI, CIRO, FINTRAC, AML/KYC, and privacy compliance.

Technical Skills

• Proficient with delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps.
• Skilled in SQL, data analysis, data mapping, and reconciliation.
• Knowledgeable in APIs, system integrations, and service-oriented architecture.
• Experienced in process mapping using Visio, Lucidchart, and BPMN methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications like CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, SAFe, CSC, IFIC, or Wealth Management Essentials are advantageous.
• Background collaborating with major Canadian insurers, wealth management firms, banks, or financial services platforms.
• Strong abilities in executive communication, stakeholder management, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving.
