Position Overview

This role focuses on supporting Capital Markets business and support groups by managing and analyzing client data, enhancing business intelligence, and implementing process automation solutions. The successful candidate will ensure data accuracy and completeness to support reporting, including regulatory trade obligations, and contribute to business-as-usual and project activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and advance business-as-usual operations and contribute to project tasks within Capital Markets.
  • Extract data, develop reports, and design dashboards to support business needs.
  • Manage client data and operational processes to enhance function and data integrity.
  • Drive process automation projects to streamline and improve existing workflows.
  • Test and validate database and API connections to ensure reliable data flow.
  • Provide support on data-centric projects for various business and support groups.
  • Ensure data quality standards to meet both internal reporting and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Facilitate business intelligence and analytics efforts to assist operational and senior management decision-making.
  • Work collaboratively across teams including Client Data and Process Automation, internal business stakeholders, technology partners, and other groups requiring analytics support.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or related role.
  • Proficient in Alteryx for data extraction, manipulation, and workflow development.
  • Experienced with Power BI or other business intelligence platforms such as Tableau or MicroStrategy.
  • Solid SQL knowledge including crafting queries and performing data analysis.
  • Background in supporting data reporting, creating dashboards, and analytics initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with capability to integrate data from multiple sources.
  • Experience interfacing with business stakeholders and managing client relationships.
  • Comfortable working in business-facing roles beyond technical development teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
  • Self-motivated, organized, collaborative with excellent multitasking abilities in fast-paced settings.
  • Keen attention to detail and dedication to maintaining data accuracy.

  • Familiarity with Power Automate and process automation projects.

Additional Information

  • Contract duration is 12 months, with possibility of extension and conversion to full-time employment.
  • Working hours are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with hybrid onsite schedule (on-site Mondays and Wednesdays).
  • Hourly pay range is 50 to 55 Canadian dollars.
