Business Analyst

Role Overview

A Business Analyst position based in Toronto, ON, offering a hybrid work model with 4 days onsite and a contract duration of 12 months or more. This role involves working within financial services or technology projects to support modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in requirement gathering, documentation, and management of stakeholders to ensure project clarity and delivery.
• Work closely across functions with business units, technical architects, developers, and operations teams to translate business needs into actionable deliverables.
• Create detailed and clear documentation such as requirement specifications, process diagrams, user manuals, and operational guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience

• Have 3 to 5 or more years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with exposure to financial services or technology domains.
• Demonstrated background in fund administration, derivatives trading, or other financial operations to effectively understand the project context.
• Hold a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or an equivalent area or possess relevant professional experience.
• Preferably possess knowledge or certifications related to derivatives, fund accounting, or financial settlements.
