Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule articulated tanker deliveries throughout the Certa network, optimizing routes for cost-effectiveness by considering customer locations, loading terminals, and product pricing.
- Manage compliance and administrative tasks related to articulated tanker vehicles and drivers.
- Engage and coordinate with various haulage providers to maximize efficiencies, including opportunities for backloading and preloading.
- Maintain communication with Certa's customers, handling orders and resolving delivery-related issues.
- Oversee stock levels at depot locations and retail forecourt stations, ensuring strategic and appropriate inventory levels.
- Ensure uninterrupted supply during product shortages through effective stock management.
- Monitor and control haulage-related expenses.
- Verify compliance standards at retail forecourts.
- Offer support by covering other operational roles and responsibilities as necessary.
Candidate Profile and Essential Skills
- Possession of a supply chain qualification or demonstrable equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- Holder of CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) training or qualification is highly preferable.
- Previous experience in a transport or logistics-related role.
- Strong geographical awareness and knowledge.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities with proven capability to meet strict deadlines.
- Effective verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Competency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
