About the Role
Join GardaWorld as a Bridge Patrol Officer based in Halifax Harbour Bridges, Nova Scotia. This role focuses on vigilant monitoring of security systems and conducting patrols to maintain safety. Strong observational skills and attention to detail are essential in spotting potential threats and suspicious activities.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems vigilantly to detect unusual or suspicious activities.
- Maintain detailed documentation of incidents and observed events through comprehensive report writing.
- Respond promptly to incidents or potential security threats to maintain safety.
- Conduct regular physical patrols ensuring the security of the premises.
- Manage access control by verifying visitor identities and securing restricted areas.
- Analyze security equipment functionality to identify weaknesses or malfunctions.
- Collaborate effectively with law enforcement agencies during serious incidents or emergencies.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in Canada.
- Posess a valid security license recognized in Canada.
- Hold current first aid certification.
- Demonstrate strong report writing and documentation skills.
- Have excellent eyesight and sustained focus capabilities.
- Be proficient with relevant technology and security systems.
