About Queensland X-Ray
Queensland X-Ray operates over 50 practices and is supported by a highly experienced team of radiologists and nuclear imaging specialists. Our dedicated staff, including technical experts, nurses, and administrative personnel, prioritize providing exceptional care and clinical outcomes for patients and referring practitioners.
Role Overview
We are seeking dedicated Bookings Officers for our Townsville region to come on board in a full-time, permanent capacity. Based primarily at our Cowboys practice, you may also rotate across various Townsville locations. The role mainly involves scheduling appointments by phone. Comprehensive training will be provided to help you understand our locations, booking procedures, and job specifics.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage appointment bookings for patients across Townsville clinics.
- Handle patient interactions primarily over the phone.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records during the booking process.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in reception, especially in radiology or specialist medical settings, is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills with a compassionate, friendly attitude.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to delivering outstanding patient care.
- Attention to detail and capacity to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and prioritize customer service excellence.
