Role Overview

Tata Consultancy Services is hiring for a BMS / Access Control / CCTV engineer in Hyderabad. The position is suited to professionals with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience and involves working on building and security systems.

Interview Details

The selection process will be conducted through a face-to-face, in-person walk-in interview on 16 July 2026 (Thursday) in Hyderabad.

Required Technical Exposure

The role calls for practical experience with fire alarm systems, building management systems, access control systems, and CCTV infrastructure. Candidates should also understand IP, PTZ, and analog cameras, security electronics, and control panel programming.

Key Responsibilities

The engineer will be expected to install, configure, and support electronic security solutions such as CCTV, access control, intrusion alarms, intercom systems, and door or gate entry setups. The job also includes routine inspections, preventive servicing, troubleshooting, repairs, testing, and acceptance checks to confirm system reliability and compliance.

In addition, the role involves managing ID card issuance and access provisioning, maintaining CCTV and ACS records, handling data and system documentation, resolving hardware, software, wiring, and network issues, and assisting with security audits and site assessments.

Skills and Knowledge

Successful candidates should be able to read technical schematics, wiring diagrams, manuals, and system layouts, and should be comfortable diagnosing faults related to devices, cabling, and connectivity.
