About Rabot Energy
Rabot Energy is a leading independent provider of dynamic electricity tariffs offering 100% green energy. They leverage innovative procurement strategies to promote ecological sustainability and cost efficiency in managing home energy. The company passes wholesale electricity market prices directly to customers, enabling an average electricity bill reduction of 35%. Owners of electric vehicles and smart meters especially benefit from their dynamic tariffs, as they can charge vehicles during low market price periods through the Rabot Energy app, which also allows real-time price monitoring and easy charging preference settings. This intelligent charging approach contributes significantly to enhancing renewable energy usage in Germany.
About the Role
As the BI Analyst, you will transform complex raw data into actionable insights across departments such as Commercial, Operations, and Pricing. Your work involves collecting and modeling data from various sources, creating dashboards and reports that teams depend upon, and ensuring consistent, high-quality data with a unified foundation. Key Milestones
- Within 3 months: Grasp the company’s data landscape; develop initial dashboards and reports; establish connections with stakeholders to understand their data needs.
- By 6 months: Maintain reliable dashboards and KPIs used across multiple teams; provide rapid, well-founded ad-hoc analyses that support real decisions; ensure data quality and clean definitions.
- By 12 months: Establish a single, trustworthy data source for core metrics; automate recurring reporting and enable self-service for teams; become the main point of contact for analytics queries and deliver forecasts and trend analyses beyond basic reports.
Desired Qualifications
- Proficient in SQL and advanced Excel, with 2 to 5 years' experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence.
- Skilled at detecting patterns, opportunities, and irregularities in large datasets and investigating anomalies deeply.
- Effective communicator who translates complex business queries into clear analyses and makes those understandable to non-technical audiences.
- Meticulous about data accuracy and quality, viewing them as essential for reliable outcomes.
- Business-oriented mindset delivering actionable insights aligned with company objectives.
- Strong sense of ownership, structured working style, and ability to organize evolving data environments.
Additional assets include: familiarity with Python or R, experience with ETL/data pipelines, cloud data warehouses like BigQuery or Snowflake, basic statistical and forecasting knowledge, and experience in regulated, data-intensive industries such as energy.
What Rabot Energy Offers

- Opportunities to influence evolving data processes rather than working within fixed structures.
- A culture of transparent collaboration that embraces learning from mistakes.
- Employee discount on the Rabot Energy electricity tariff.
- Partnership access to Urban Sports Club and Deutschlandticket benefits.
