Role Overview

As a Behavioural Health Coach, you will provide essential support and motivation to users participating in Mental Health and Wellbeing programs focusing on anxiety, depression, and stress management. This role involves delivering personalized written feedback and encouragement to enhance user outcomes within SilverCloud programs. The position requires approximately 20 hours of part-time work weekly.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver innovative and exemplary digital behavioral health coaching.
• Monitor and evaluate user engagement, encouraging sustained participation and health management through online programs.
• Compose weekly personalized written reviews to guide user progress.
• Identify potential concerns via content monitoring and escalate appropriately.
• Express empathy, recognize behavioral patterns, enrich user interaction, and facilitate realistic, personalized goal formulation.
• Encourage continuous use of the program to prevent disengagement and deepen understanding of program tools and content.
• Collaborate with clinical supervisors to ensure user safety, engagement, and appropriate treatment access.
• Participate in monthly meetings with supervisors and group supervision sessions.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Pursuing or completed a Master’s or Doctorate in Psychology, Social Care, Psychotherapy, or Counselling, registered or in the process of registration with an Irish recognized professional body.
• Strong familiarity with online mental health services.
• Desirable experience in Children and Young People services.
• Excellent written communication and typing abilities to maintain clear, personal correspondence.
• Proficient with diverse technological tools and adaptable to technological advancements.
• Empathetic and attentive to user needs, fostering motivation and support.
• Sound judgment, with supervised ability to identify risks, consult appropriately, and stay within coaching role limits, avoiding counseling or therapy practices.
• Experience with cognitive behavioural therapy models, motivational interviewing, or brief therapy techniques.

Compensation Details

The expected hourly wage falls between €16 and €18, varying by experience, skills, education, and role complexity. Eligibility for an annual bonus and other short- or long-term incentives may be considered. Compensation details are subject to change based on market and operational conditions.
