Barista

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Barista to join our team on a full-time basis, contracted for 35 hours per week, providing expertly crafted drinks for the Defence sector. Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday: Full-time day shifts
• Saturday and Sunday: Not scheduled

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare well-blended beverages and serve high-quality food that satisfies customers
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area at all times
• Handle transactions efficiently, accepting payments via cash and credit cards
• Collaborate effectively as a motivated team member and communicate clearly
• Manage stock levels of clean mugs and plates
• Acquire knowledge on brewing techniques, blends, food preparation, and presentation
• Inspect brewing equipment regularly and report any required maintenance
• Uphold a positive brand image representing Defence
• Adhere strictly to Food Handling and Hygiene standards
• Comply with Health and Safety guidelines

Candidate Profile

• Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong customer relationships
• Experience in customer service roles is preferred
• Highly motivated with a drive for excellence
• Proactive decision-maker focused on customer satisfaction
• Practical experience using brewing equipment
• Capable of working effectively under pressure
• Reliable with excellent punctuality
