Job overview
Applications are open for a bank Domestic Assistant position at Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor. The role involves working varied shifts between 07:30 and 20:00 across wards and departments.
Main duties
You will support the hospital by completing cleaning and related tasks in wards, departments, public areas, staff areas, and residential accommodation.
Training and induction
There is a 4 to 6 week induction period with practical on-the-job training. This will cover operational cleaning methods, health and safety, and COSHH.
Language requirement
Welsh language skills are desirable for this post. Candidates who speak Welsh and/or English are equally encouraged to apply.

Person specification
Experience: Candidates must satisfy all essential criteria listed in the attached job description and person specification. Experience working in a team and prior cleaning services experience are desirable.
Aptitude and abilities: Essential requirements include the ability to organise and prioritise your own workload, along with basic numeracy and literacy skills. Meeting all desirable criteria in the attached documents is also considered an advantage.
