Role overview
As a Back of House Assistant, you will help keep store operations running smoothly and support great customer experiences from the stockroom through to the sales floor. The position requires speed, accuracy, organisation and a strong eye for detail, along with the energy to work in a busy retail environment.
This position follows a Sunday to Thursday roster with varying shift times. By applying, you are confirming that you can work across those days.
Key responsibilities
- Support the Back of House Manager or Supervisor with deliveries, stock organisation, tidiness and loss prevention in the back of house area.
- Assist the sales team with customer requests and product questions, including quickly retrieving footwear styles and sizes for customers on the shop floor.
- Maintain back of house standards in line with company expectations.
- Make sure merchandise is correctly priced and tagged.
- Help keep the sales floor replenished and ensure all size runs remain available.
- Work with the Store Manager and Back of House leadership team to help achieve KPIs and store targets.
What you will bring
- Prior customer service experience in retail, hospitality or a similar environment.
- Back of House or warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- A positive, can-do mindset.
- Strong organisation skills and solid operational ability.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving, changing environment.
- A proactive attitude that sees challenges as chances to learn and grow.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and public holidays, depending on store requirements.
