B1 Helicopter Maintenance Instructor

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced B1 Instructor to join our team at Airbus Helicopters Arabia in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This role involves delivering technical training and overseeing maintenance operations related to the H145 helicopter. The position requires proven technical expertise, instructional capabilities, and curriculum development skills to train maintenance technicians at various levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver On-the-Job Training (OJT) programs for both new and advanced maintenance technicians specializing in H145 helicopters.
• Create and implement educational materials including charts, graphs, handouts, overheads, and slides to support technical training sessions.
• Supervise and assess trainee maintenance technicians during practical evaluations to ensure skill competency.
• Maintain accurate training records in compliance with PSS/GSAC policies using Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a minimum Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance or equivalent recognized aviation program with at least 2 years' duration.
• Hold EASA Part 66 or FAA License preferred.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years’ relevant maintenance experience on H145 helicopters, including military or civilian roles.
• Provide evidence of minimum 3 years’ experience as a technical instructor.
• Have validated H145 type rating from an OEM-approved organization.
• Show proven experience in technical writing, preferably 3 years, and curriculum development for aviation maintenance training.
• Instructor certification from a recognized institution is required.
• Language proficiency: Non-native English speakers must have IELTS 6.0 or equivalent, or pass language evaluation during the interview.
• Working knowledge of MS Office applications is mandatory.
• Level-7 qualification in logistics, maintenance, or training-related specialties is preferred.

Mandatory Conditions
