Role Overview

We are looking for an AutoCAD Technician to contribute to the design and execution of water and wastewater infrastructure projects internationally. This position requires producing precise AutoCAD drawings and technical documents for treatment plants, pumping stations, pipelines, and related civil structures. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, your work will comply with ISO 19650 standards and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate effectively within a larger team to achieve project objectives.
• Create and update AutoCAD 2D drawings, sections, details, and schedules adhering to project standards.
• Ensure information delivery aligns with ISO 19650 frameworks.
• Coordinate design drawings with civil, mechanical, electrical, and process engineering teams.
• Assist in resolving coordination issues across various disciplines.
• Implement design revisions and maintain drawing accuracy.
• Manage drawings and associated assets using the Common Data Environment.
• Support engineers in document preparation and continual design updates.
• Contribute to project handover packages and asset information documentation.
• Guarantee high-quality deliverables within agreed timelines.
• Promote continuous improvement in all workplace and project processes.
• Participate in mandatory training to fulfill role requirements.
• Adapt to evolving company needs, embracing additional duties as they arise.

Qualifications and Experience

• Preferably possess at least 5 years of relevant experience; highly qualified candidates with less experience will also be considered.
• Familiarity with construction methods and building regulations is essential.
• Proficient in AutoCAD software with experience in General Arrangement (GA) drawings.
• Competent in Microsoft Office tools including Excel and Word.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, appropriate to a technical project environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multicultural and multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrate a proactive, positive, and adaptable attitude.
