Role Overview
The Associate Director of Information Technology will join our Navi Mumbai office and act as a vital partner to the US IT leadership team. This role will be responsible for ensuring successful delivery aligned with the company's strategic technology roadmap. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the real estate industry from both technological and consumer perspectives, combining strategic insight with hands-on experience in application development, solution delivery, and IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of IT projects to market successfully.
- Ensure technology resources align with both short-term and long-term company goals.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members.
- Ensure all technological practices comply with regulatory and compliance standards.
- Offer strategic direction and oversight throughout the entire lifecycle of IT system design, development, operation, and support.
- Collaborate with HR and IT leadership to plan and execute workforce strategies that maintain a skilled team to meet current and future demands.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 10 years in a technological role with demonstrated expertise.
- Minimum of 10 years managerial experience within global operations.
- Experience collaborating with Western companies.
- Strong proficiency in advanced technologies, including mandatory cloud software development experience.
- Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective delegation and organizational skills.
- Passion for innovation and improving organizational performance by leveraging emerging technologies and best practices.
- Commitment to continuous learning of new technologies.
- Results-driven with a focus on metrics and operational effectiveness.
- Ability to perform well independently with minimal supervision.
Eligibility
Applicants must hold a B.Tech or B.E. degree in Computer Science and Engineering or Information Technology.
