Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive strategic and operational analyses of portfolio companies, focusing on financial health, business strategy, competitive positioning, operational efficiency, performance, and market and industry trends.
- Lead the identification, assessment, and execution of value creation initiatives including strategic refocusing, operational enhancements, balance sheet optimization, and corporate restructuring.
- Develop, maintain, and challenge detailed valuation and financial models such as SOTP, DCF, DDM, and comparative analyses to support investment decisions, including scenario planning and sensitivity testing.
- Monitor portfolio performance against financial and operational KPIs, assess competitive positioning, financial strength, and emerging risks, providing actionable insights to improve long-term value.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, senior management, and board directors to facilitate strategic discussions, decision-making, and ensure accountability in initiative execution.
- Contribute to portfolio-wide initiatives including identifying synergies and best practices, supporting organic and inorganic growth strategies, and promoting knowledge sharing.
- Manage selected projects end-to-end encompassing problem definition, analysis, stakeholder engagement, recommendation formulation, and implementation oversight.
- Mentor and coach junior team members, supporting their professional development and enhancing team capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or related fields with excellent academic achievement.
- Between 5 to 8 years’ experience in top-tier management consulting, investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, M&A, accounting, or related disciplines.
- Proven expertise in strategic analysis, financial modelling, valuation, and complex problem-solving.
- Skilled in engaging and influencing senior stakeholders effectively.
- Ability to convert analysis into actionable, execution-driven recommendations while managing multiple priorities in a demanding environment.
- Self-driven with a strong sense of ownership and independent work ethic.
- Excellent communication and writing skills, adept at clarifying complex issues succinctly.
- Familiarity with financial data platforms such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, and FactSet.
- Proficiency in AI tools including ChatGPT and Copilot to enhance research, synthesis, and productivity.
