Join our busiest Queensland outlet, Macpac Brisbane DFO, where you will work closely with a dedicated Store Manager passionate about coaching and career growth. Role Overview
As Assistant Store Manager, you will play a critical role supporting the Store Manager to maximize sales, ensure smooth daily operations, and foster a positive workplace culture. Your leadership will promote excellent customer service, team motivation, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the store team by example to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
- Coach and develop staff to drive individual and team success.
- Increase sales through effective floor leadership and team engagement.
- Oversee merchandising, stock control, and maintain high operational standards.
- Champion and uphold a strong safety culture throughout the store.
Requirements
- Prior leadership experience such as Supervisor, Team Leader or Manager is preferred.
- A customer-centric approach with strong leadership by example.
- Proven ability to train, coach, and inspire team members.
- Strong skills in motivating staff and managing team performance.
- Competence in merchandising, stock management, and maintaining store standards.
- Commitment to safety, accountability, and nurturing a positive culture.
- Passion for the outdoors or travel is favorable, though direct industry experience is not necessary.
