Work Schedule

This position offers flexible shift availability to accommodate varied schedules.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations of the Stationstore.
• Assist in hiring, supervising, and collaborative teamwork to complete daily store tasks efficiently.
• Manage bookkeeping duties and handle merchandising to maintain store standards.
• Deliver fast and friendly customer service while upholding high operational standards.
• Ensure consistent and reliable onsite presence.
• Implement and maintain the store’s high-quality food program standards.
• Lead by example in demonstrating urgency, patience, and leadership.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient in leading teams including employees and management personnel.
• Experienced in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring staff.
• Strong delegation skills with effective follow-up procedures.
• Ability to teach, motivate, and organize staff to meet store objectives.
• Excellent communication of plans and ideas.
• Competent in cash handling and bookkeeping practices.
• Problem-solving capabilities with a customer-focused mindset.
• Advocacy and empathy in workplace relations.
• Knowledgeable about safety and security protocols.

Preferred Experience

• Previous retail experience.
• Experience in supervisory or management roles.
• Recruiting and hiring experience.
• Experience with food handling.
• High school diploma or college degree is beneficial.

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand or walk for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Capability to lift/carry up to 30 pounds overhead for up to 30 minutes per shift.
• Occasional lifting/carrying of up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level.
• Able to push or pull with an arm force up to 20 pounds.
• Bending with some twisting up to one hour during the shift.
• Manual dexterity including grasping, reaching, and coordination; climbing a ladder for material handling.
