Assistant Project Manager

Role Overview

Mnzil is a dynamic prop-tech firm revolutionizing workforce housing and real estate services in Saudi Arabia. We are seeking a meticulous Assistant Project Manager to evaluate buildings prior to leasing, oversee their preparation, and ensure smooth handover to the relevant departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit buildings referred by Sales and Leasing teams to conduct upfront assessments of their condition and capacity, providing critical information to support leasing decisions.
• Compile detailed technical Assessment Reports covering building data such as room counts, floor areas, and measurements, evaluating structural, electrical, and mechanical elements with photographic evidence and documenting required works to inform project planning.
• Develop Project Plans outlining scopes of work across disciplines (civil, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, safety), specifying timelines and execution methods for effective scheduling.
• Assemble comprehensive lists of post-takeover necessities (furniture, appliances, cooking and laundry equipment), and initiate purchase requests via the company’s approved platform.
• Monitor shipment progress, conduct inventories upon delivery, and verify item condition and order compliance.
• Oversee fit-out and maintenance activities by inspecting pre-, mid-, and post-execution stages, ensuring workflow adherence and project completion.
• Audit invoices for accuracy, reconcile with on-site realities, and upload to the company's ERP system.
• Perform thorough final inspections guaranteeing compliance with Mnzil’s quality standards including aesthetics, safety systems, cleanliness, furniture installation, and operational condition of air conditioning and lighting.

Candidate Profile

• Educational background with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated expertise in project coordination, property inspections, or facility management.
• Keen eye for detail combined with solid technical assessment capabilities.
• Proficient in interpreting civil, electrical, and mechanical building conditions.
• Experienced using Microsoft Excel and Word to formulate comprehensive reports.
• Strong organizational aptitude to manage follow-ups across multiple active sites efficiently.
• Fluent bilingual communication skills in Arabic and English.
