Role Overview

The resort is hiring an Assistant Manager for the Transportation Shuttle function to support day-to-day guest transport operations and help deliver a polished luxury experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee vehicle scheduling and dispatch for guest movements, airport transfers, and special occasions.
• Make sure transport service is delivered on time and with professional standards.
• Track vehicle upkeep schedules and ensure vehicles remain clean and presentable.
• Supervise chauffeurs, drivers, and transportation coordinators.
• Deliver ongoing training on service quality, safety procedures, and guest interaction.
• Review team performance and provide guidance, coaching, and feedback.
• Create smooth, tailored transport experiences for VIPs, groups, and individual guests.
• Respond to guest questions, complaints, and special transport requests.
• Work with Concierge, Front Office, and Events teams to arrange transportation.
• Coordinate with outside transport vendors and car rental partners when needed.
• Keep accurate records for vehicle usage, fuel usage, and service logs.
• Support budgeting and help control transportation-related costs.
• Ensure vehicles and drivers follow local transport laws and hotel standards.
• Uphold Forbes Five Star quality standards in all service delivery.
• Carry out routine safety inspections and audits.
• Maintain insurance and licensing records for vehicles and drivers.

Candidate Profile

The right candidate should bring experience in hotel or limousine transport operations, a strong service mindset, and the ability to manage a team in a luxury hospitality environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a similar discipline.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in hotel transport or limousine services, including supervisory duties.
• Good understanding of luxury service expectations and guest handling.
• A valid driving licence and knowledge of local traffic regulations.
• Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Prior exposure to Forbes Travel Guide standards and related training.
