Assistant Manager - Parts

Overview

The Assistant Manager of Parts Sales will oversee comprehensive parts operations, guaranteeing efficient inventory availability, streamlined procurement processes, and profitable sales of parts across various locations. This position is essential for enhancing operational efficiency, improving inventory performance, nurturing supplier and wholesale client relationships, and facilitating effective workshop support through thorough parts management.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, forecast, and manage parts inventory effectively.
• Administer OEM ordering processes and maintain robust supplier partnerships.
• Balance inventory turnover rates to reduce obsolete stock risk.
• Promote parts sales across workshops, retail outlets, and wholesale channels.
• Track and analyze key performance indicators concerning stock accuracy and branch operations.
• Ensure precise data entry and upkeep in ERP/DMS platforms, maintaining operational best practices.
• Develop and expand relationships with independent workshops and fleet clients.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Between six to eight years' experience managing automotive parts.
• Proven expertise in procurement, inventory control, and driving parts sales.
• Practical experience using DMS/ERP software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Extensive knowledge of OEM parts management systems such as ETK/EPC, alongside inventory control and automotive supply chain operations.
• Strong analytical skills paired with negotiation prowess and capability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
