About the Company and Role
A well-established Electric Vehicle (EV) automobile trading firm based in Kathmandu, Nepal, is seeking an innovative and proactive Marketing Assistant Manager. This position focuses on enhancing brand visibility, engaging customers, and generating sales leads in Nepal's rapidly expanding EV sector. The role involves both strategic planning and active fieldwork, closely collaborating with sales teams to deliver impactful marketing campaigns.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design and implement marketing strategies and campaigns to elevate the presence of EV products.
- Oversee brand promotion activities, including organizing events, exhibitions, roadshows, and various promotional campaigns.
- Drive lead generation efforts and qualify those leads to support the sales department.
- Work jointly with internal teams ensuring smooth execution and follow-up on campaigns.
- Manage field marketing tasks such as partner visitations and initiatives to engage customers personally.
- Create marketing content, promotional materials, and coordinate digital advertising initiatives.
- Keep abreast of market developments, competitor behavior, and customer preferences.
- Analyze campaign outcomes, monitor lead generation effectiveness, and report on return on investment.
Candidate Requirements
- Professional experience ranging from 2 to over 5 years in marketing, preferably within automotive, electric vehicles, FMCG, or service industries.
- Strong understanding of marketing concepts, branding strategies, and execution of promotional activities.
- Proficient communication abilities in both English and Nepali.
- Capability to manage and integrate offline (field-based) and online (digital) marketing efforts.
- Excellent skills in coordination, strategic planning, and campaign execution.
- Mandatory possession of a valid four-wheeler driving license, essential for on-site visits and event participation.
- Preferred candidates will have experience in automotive or EV product marketing, event organization, roadshows, activation campaigns, and foundational digital marketing knowledge including social media and analytics competencies.
- Applicants should exhibit a creative, proactive attitude with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
