Role Purpose
The Assistant Manager – Learning & Development ensures the department operates efficiently in alignment with Hyatt International’s Corporate Strategies and brand standards, striving to meet expectations of employees, guests, and owners alike. This role supports the development, execution, and assessment of learning initiatives aimed at enhancing employee skills, leadership effectiveness, and overall organizational success. Collaborating closely with business leaders and HR teams, the role identifies training needs, administers learning programs, and promotes a culture of ongoing professional growth.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possession of a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a relevant discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering training programs, overseeing onboarding processes, and managing employee development projects.
- Strong abilities in facilitation, presentation, and effective communication.
- Proficient in conducting Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and assessing the impact of training activities.
- Background in hotel operational roles working with diverse, multicultural teams within dynamic, fast-paced environments.
