Description de l'emploi

Role overview

This position sits in the business development and sales generation function for the hospitality segment. The selected professional will educate key hospitality decision-makers about Jaquar Group’s Complete Bathroom Solutions (CBS) and Complete Lighting Solutions (CLS), turn market opportunity into revenue, and represent the brand across the hospitality ecosystem. The role also includes supporting colleagues in other territories so they can make better use of relationships with hotel chains, promoters, and industry influencers. In addition, the role acts as a profit-center lead for the hospitality business in the assigned region, with accountability for productivity and sales outcomes.

Key responsibilities

  • Build awareness among hospitality decision-makers about the Jaquar and Artize brands, along with the value offered by CBS and CLS.
  • Maintain wide market coverage across international and Indian hotel owners, hotel promoters, architects, interior designers, PMC teams, and consultants.
  • Own hospitality accounts personally and expand the customer base by onboarding new clients.
  • Set up CBS and CLS across hospitality properties and introduce relevant new products.
  • Help convert existing hotels into CBS and CLS customers through promotional selling and business development, ensure BOQs are included at the early project stage, secure follow-on orders, and facilitate mock-up execution.
  • Meet clients in person and arrange visits to JW/OC/Atelier locations as well as the manufacturing facility.
  • Develop strong one-to-one working relationships with chief engineers, executive housekeepers, and training managers in existing hotels.
  • Train housekeeping teams on correct product upkeep and ensure “Do’s and Don’ts” posters are placed in housekeeping pantries.
  • Create self-managed action plans, define targets, and deliver results chain-wise, unit-wise, promoter-wise, and architect/PMC/consultant-wise.
  • Work with BSI teams to provide strong customer-care support to hospitality clients.
  • Own CBS and CLS revenue generation for the hospitality segment.
  • Coordinate with the customer care team to run service camps with hotel maintenance teams using Jaquar products.
  • Deliver the required quantity and quality of customer calls, along with the necessary result-driven client meetings, in line with company standards.
  • Achieve agreed revenue and activity targets based on the market’s potential.

Key attributes

  • Proven track record in hospitality market development and growth.
  • Strong capability in creating demand and selling concepts rather than relying on product-only selling.
  • Ability to build long-term relationships and provide excellent service.
  • Experience in selling through brand strength, coverage, and service reliability.
  • Comfort with selling at company-set pricing without depending on discounting.
  • Self-driven approach with the ability to set goals, review performance, and improve continuously.
  • Comfort with systems, reporting, and daily tracking.
  • Existing connections with hotel brands, hotel units, promoters/builders, architects, and PMCs.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the territory and, when needed, beyond the assigned area.

Qualifications and experience

  • An MBA or a comparable advanced qualification is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the core hospitality sector is needed.
  • Prior exposure to projects teams and valuable existing hospitality contacts will be important.
  • The role calls for strong planning, organisation, ownership, relationship management, problem-solving, communication, negotiation, persuasion, and presentation skills.
  • The ideal candidate should have a professional appearance, a practical street-smart approach, and the ability to engage senior managers and other key decision-makers.
  • Strong need-creation and concept-selling ability is essential.

Working style

The role is field-intensive and requires regular travel, proactive territory management, direct client engagement, and consistent reporting.
