Job Overview
The Assistant Manager Counter Lead plays a pivotal role in supporting the brand's growth by driving sales and increasing market share while maintaining a strong consumer focus.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent the brand professionally to both internal teams and external consumers at all times.
- Boost sales by delivering outstanding service and upholding high retail standards.
- Comply with all store, brand, and company procedures to ensure operational efficiency.
- Understand and work towards daily and weekly sales targets.
- Stay informed of additional sales channels including events, omnichannel, and digital platforms.
- Monitor competitor activities and identify missed opportunities.
- Leverage social media effectively to promote business, protect, and enhance the brand image.
- Implement the brand strategy with a focus on local plan execution.
- Organize and carry out local marketing and event initiatives in alignment with retailer activities.
- Continuously improve service excellence by ensuring measures that foster a no-complaints culture and a 'surprise and delight' approach.
- Serve as a brand ambassador, embodying and promoting brand values.
- Handle refunds and complaints in compliance with company guidelines, escalating to the Area Manager as appropriate.
- Utilize digital tools to maintain current product and brand knowledge.
- Develop and execute strategies for consumer recruitment and retention to build loyalty.
- Maintain up-to-date product expertise to deliver superior consumer experiences tailored to their needs.
- Ensure consistently excellent standards in product presentation, housekeeping, displays, messaging, and pricing.
- Conduct daily retail standards reviews to maintain company expectations.
- Carry out deliveries, stock management, and related administration within set timeframes.
- Follow all audit and administrative procedures and address risks promptly.
- Implement company security policies to minimize stock loss.
- Maintain a safe environment for consumers by adhering to company and retailer policies.
- Ensure all operational activities meet or exceed 'Acceptable' health and safety audit standards.
- Manage daily stock replenishment and take corrective actions as needed.
- Utilize commercial reports to maximize sales performance through informed decisions.
- Plan and execute visual merchandising layouts following guidelines and timelines.
- Identify and address issues with stock packages, notifying the Area Manager when necessary.
- Manage promotions and discounts according to company policies.
- Analyze trends and propose improvements to enhance product success.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Prior experience in a busy retail or consumer-facing setting.
