Role & Responsibilities
- Assist the Legal Head in handling diverse legal cases including litigation, disputes, regulatory issues, and compliance matters.
- Offer legal guidance to various business units on commercial disputes and compliance obligations.
- Coordinate proactively with external lawyers and consultants on matters involving commercial and statutory litigations, intellectual property rights, regulatory compliance, and labor/employment law.
- Independently draft, review, and vet legal documents such as notices, responses, agreements, and records related to litigation, ensuring timely and accurate documentation and follow-up.
- Develop and maintain legal trackers and periodic reports (MIS) to monitor the status of disputes and litigation, and provide key updates.
Candidate Profile
- Possess an LLB degree with specialization in Corporate Law.
- Have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in litigation and regulatory affairs.
- Experience in the FMCG sector is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated skills in legal drafting, communication, and analytical thinking.
- Exhibit a proactive attitude with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
