Job Overview
Located at Alexandra Hospital in Singapore, this role focuses on spearheading the planning and development of the hospital's future campus. The goal is to formulate redevelopment strategies, assess infrastructure possibilities, and convert operational demands into sustainable, patient-centered building solutions aligned with the hospital’s long-term objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct planning studies, evaluate feasibility, and explore options to recommend optimal campus and infrastructure developments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project specifications and translate clinical, operational, and service needs into actionable planning and development strategies.
- Manage coordination among consultants, public agencies, and multidisciplinary teams to produce integrated planning and design results consistent with project goals and organizational priorities.
- Review design and planning submissions to confirm alignment with technical, regulatory, operational, and strategic standards.
- Provide support for management and governance decisions by delivering thorough analyses, planning recommendations, and preparing business cases, reports, and presentations.
- Promote continuous enhancement by staying updated on healthcare planning trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to strengthen future campus planning projects.
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related built environment discipline.
- At least 3 years of pertinent experience, preferably within institutional, commercial, or healthcare projects.
- Prior exposure to planning studies or feasibility assessments is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to generate actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across diverse groups.
- Ability to operate effectively in uncertain conditions, demonstrating sound judgment and efficient multitasking.
- Highly adaptable, organized, and cooperative, thriving within dynamic, cross-disciplinary teams.
Additional Information
This position is offered on a 3-year contractual basis, with the potential for extension contingent on satisfactory job performance and organizational requirements.
