Description de l'emploi

About the Role

We are looking for a diligent and experienced Artist & Management Assistant to support a dynamic independent music artist based in Los Angeles. This role blends hands-on personal assistance with project coordination, daily business operations, and administrative support. The assistant will partner closely with both the artist and management team to efficiently manage schedules, logistics, projects, and commitments.

This position demands more than desk work; it requires comfort managing calendars, travel, spreadsheets, errands, pickups, rehearsals, shoots, events, and handling last-minute production requests. Ideal candidates are proactive, organized, discreet, resourceful, and able to foresee needs without constant supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain artist calendar including appointments, rehearsals, recording sessions, fittings, photoshoots, meetings, travel, and live performance engagements
  • Provide direct support to the artist for professional preparation, errands, appointments, travel, and day-to-day requirements
  • Collaborate with vendors, creatives, producers, stylists, photographers, choreographers, venues, collaborators, and other team members
  • Coordinate travel plans, make reservations, arrange transportation, prepare itineraries, manage purchases, pickups, deliveries, and accommodations
  • Attend rehearsals, photo/video shoots, performances, meetings, and events as required
  • Monitor deadlines, approvals, deliverables, follow-ups, expenses, invoices, documents, and project details
  • Manage calendars, spreadsheets, contact lists, project trackers, and internal organizational systems
  • Ensure timely completion of tasks by following up with collaborators and vendors
  • Prepare dressing rooms, rehearsal spaces, shoot locations, travel materials, and other necessary professional setups
  • Anticipate and resolve logistical issues or missing details before they escalate
  • Support evolving administrative and operational needs of the artist's business
  • Handle confidential personal and professional information with utmost discretion

Qualifications

  • Prior experience supporting a music artist, artist manager, entertainment executive, touring team, record label, production company, or similar fast-paced creative industry
  • Deep understanding of the agility, pace, and confidentiality required when closely supporting an artist
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management capabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities while maintaining attention to detail
  • Capability to follow up proactively and professionally with different stakeholders
  • Self-motivated with sound judgment and ability to work independently
  • Comfortable executing both administrative duties and hands-on responsibilities
  • Reliable personal transportation and readiness to travel around Los Angeles
  • Flexible schedule accommodating occasional evening, weekend, shoot, performance, and changing work hours
  • Proficient with Google Workspace and familiar with organizational tools such as spreadsheets, calendars, and project management software

Ideal Candidate

You are observant and take initiative to address overlooked details. You reliably complete tasks without reminders, remain poised amid shifting plans, and appreciate the importance of logistical accuracy in creative endeavors. Comfortable handling diverse duties ranging from spreadsheet management, scheduling, vendor interaction, performance preparation to real-time problem-solving, you embody professionalism, discretion, resourcefulness, and a genuine interest in advancing an artist’s career and business.

Growth Potential

This position commences as a compensated assistant role with promising prospects for expansion in duties and responsibilities as the artist's projects and team grow.

Application Instructions

Applicants should provide a résumé or professional profile along with a brief introduction, outline of relevant entertainment or executive assistance experience, current availability, confirmation of Los Angeles residency and reliable transportation, and two professional references. Candidates lacking relevant professional background will not be considered.
