Description de l'emploi
About the Role
We seek a mid-level Art Director who combines creative direction insight with hands-on craftsmanship to develop compelling visual campaigns. This role requires a passion for ideation, meticulous attention to detail, and enthusiasm for delivering work across various platforms—from expansive campaigns to brief social media posts.
At The Zimmerman Agency, we specialize in integrated marketing campaigns designed for travel and tourism brands, inspiring audiences to explore new destinations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and design multi-channel campaigns including print, broadcast, digital, social media, out-of-home advertisements, and promotional collateral.
- Collaborate closely with copywriters, strategists, and account managers to transform briefs into fully realized campaigns.
- Create brand identities, layouts, visual systems, and toolkits that balance aesthetics and functionality.
- Produce diverse content such as social media posts, digital advertisements, presentations, pitch decks, and campaign materials.
- Convert broad conceptual ideas into polished, precise design executions.
- Accept and incorporate feedback gracefully to refine concepts without diluting the original idea.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently while maintaining organization and a detail-focused approach.
Required Qualifications
- Between 2 to 5 years of design experience within an agency or similarly fast-paced creative setting.
- A portfolio demonstrating strong conceptual thinking, advanced design skills (typography, layout, composition, hierarchy, color theory, photography usage), and versatility across channels such as print, digital, and social media campaigns.
- High proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects; familiarity with Figma is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to articulate design choices clearly.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other creative professionals and independently manage projects.
- Experience or eagerness to work with AI-powered design tools.
- Receptive to feedback and open to creative direction.
- A positive, team-oriented mindset.
Work Environment and Benefits
- Engage with a variety of travel and tourism brands, offering diverse and stimulating creative challenges.
- Enjoy working within a tight-knit boutique agency atmosphere that supports high-quality, impactful projects.
- Be part of a collaborative team that values mutual support and leaves interpersonal conflicts aside.
- Work fully onsite in a vibrant office located in Tallahassee, Florida, ensuring direct team interaction rather than remote isolation.
- Opportunities for personal and professional growth through concept-driven integrated projects.
