Studio Z, Zillow's internal creative agency, is looking for a mid-level Art Director to influence the development of the brand's future. Role Overview

The Art Director will lead visual concept development and art direction for specific projects and contribute to comprehensive integrated campaigns. The focus will be on creating emotionally and culturally relevant work that keeps Zillow ahead creatively. Collaboration with senior creatives is essential to transform business goals into intuitive, high-quality customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and direct visual concepts for integrated campaigns, partnerships, and activations across digital and physical platforms.
• Produce high-quality, sophisticated design and art direction that enhances the entire Studio Z team's output.
• Leverage Generative AI tools to speed ideation and expand creative quality.
• Craft and direct social media content that naturally fits feeds while preserving the brand's premium character.
• Continuously observe trends in human behavior, music, sports, fashion, and technology to maintain cultural relevance.
• Present creative ideas clearly in formal reviews, explaining how works connect human truths with cultural momentum.

Work Location and Travel

This telecommuting position allows working remotely anywhere in Mexico, with occasional travel to Mexico City recommended for in-person company events.

Compensation

The role offers a competitive base salary plus benefits, along with eligibility for equity awards depending on experience, performance, and location.

• A cultural scout who proactively identifies subcultures without needing a prompt.
• Combines the precision of traditional Art Direction with an experimental, tech-savvy mindset.
• Deeply knowledgeable about design history and current digital trends, valuing meticulous details.
• Effective communicator able to provide constructive feedback and confidently present ideas.
• Collaborative and motivated, keen to contribute to creative teamwork producing proud outcomes.

Qualifications

• At least 4 to 5 years of experience in art direction or design in a leading agency or top-tier in-house team.
• Proven leadership in executing integrated campaigns and managing brand projects.
• Experience supporting photo and video productions professionally.
• Proficiency with design software including Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Mastery of Generative AI tools within creative workflows is required.
• Willingness to travel occasionally despite the remote work setup.
