Role Overview
Florose is seeking a skilled Art Director to lead the visual brand identity across all platforms including the app, website, social media, physical stores, packaging, and campaigns. This position requires crafting elegant, cohesive, and premium visual concepts that embody the luxurious world of Florose. The role is hands-on and managerial, setting creative direction, overseeing designers and video editors, and ensuring all visual assets exhibit a consistent, refined look and feel.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and manage the visual style for campaigns, seasonal collections, and various brand initiatives across digital, print, social media, and physical spaces.
- Convert marketing briefs into compelling creative ideas, mood boards, and visual guidelines that enhance the Florose brand image.
- Lead and review video editors' work, refining cuts and guiding the visual style, pacing, and quality of video content.
- Control color treatment and grading of all video materials to maintain a consistent premium aesthetic aligned with the brand.
- Develop and update brand guidelines to secure visual uniformity throughout all channels, including clear standards for video color grading.
- Mentor graphic designers, video editors, and external creatives by providing clear and constructive feedback.
- Direct photo and video shoots in partnership with photographers, videographers, stylists, and production teams.
- Collaborate with marketing, social, and product departments to create creative assets that support business objectives.
- Handle multiple projects and deadlines while upholding high creative standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in art direction or senior design roles, preferably in retail, e-commerce, lifestyle, luxury brands, or agencies.
- A robust portfolio showcasing excellent visual judgment, strategic brand thinking, and campaign work in both static and video formats.
- Must be a Saudi national (this role is reserved for Saudis).
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiar with video editing and color grading tools such as Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve for supervising video editors.
- Strong expertise in color theory, typography, layout, composition, and consistent video grading.
- Experience in directing and managing video editors and motion content production.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project-management capabilities.
- Preferred fluency in both Arabic and English, written and spoken.
Desirable Skills
- Background in luxury or lifestyle brand environments and knowledge of the Saudi aesthetic and market trends.
- Understanding of social media-first and performance-driven creative work.
- Practical experience with color grading or expertise in video/motion direction.
