Area Service Incharge

Role Overview

Jio is seeking an Area Service Incharge for its team in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. This role focuses on managing service operations across the assigned area, ensuring strong partner coordination, effective manpower deployment, and consistent delivery of service commitments.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan resources, handle recruitment support, and oversee deployment of personnel.
• Manage the partner lifecycle from onboarding through ongoing coordination.
• Make sure onboarding standards are met and take ownership of service delivery outcomes.
• Maintain sufficient manpower availability to support operations.
• Track daily team performance, keep the team engaged, and provide training where needed.
• Visit partners and market locations as required by business needs.
• Collect customer feedback and guide, mentor, and counsel team members and manpower.
• Drive partners toward meeting targets within timelines.
• Address escalations and work to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Work closely with Sales, Service, Network, and Finance teams.
• Take part in other business activities as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate or diploma holder in an engineering stream.
• 6 to 10 years of experience in after-sales service.
• Experience in area or zone operations within DTH industry, device operations, cable, telecom, or related domains.
• Good understanding of geography for the assigned area.
• Working knowledge of business training needs.
