Goddard Riverside Community Center is a well-established organization in Manhattan dedicated to serving approximately 20,000 New Yorkers annually. The center is a leading human services provider across New York City, supporting children, youth, families, homeless individuals, and older adults. Role Purpose

The Archive Summer Intern will work within the communications department to assist in evaluating, organizing, and securely storing various historic media assets. These materials include photographs, videos, past public and internal communications, and comparable artifacts in preparation for the organization's 175th anniversary. The internship offers opportunities for light writing tasks contributing to both physical and digital media content under guidance from communications staff.

Schedule and Compensation

The internship runs Monday through Friday, generally from May 27 to August 26, with some date flexibility. Daily hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm, totaling approximately 14 hours weekly. Compensation ranges from $18.50 to $22.00 per hour, with final pay determined by the candidate's relevant experience and qualifications.
