Job Overview
This role involves delivering exceptional food and beverage service to guests while adhering to company service standards, policies, and etiquettes to ensure a memorable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain impeccable grooming standards at all times.
- Exceed guest expectations by recognizing preferences and updating guest profiles accordingly.
- Possess thorough knowledge of the restaurant's menu and daily specials.
- Be well-versed in beverage service, including types of glasses and suitable garnishes.
- Monitor and contribute to the achievement of financial, LQA, TrustYou, and Forbes targets daily.
- Anticipate guest needs and provide attentive service consistently.
- Regularly track daily financial objectives of assigned areas or divisions.
- Use opening and closing checklists to ensure efficient venue operations.
- Ensure service stations are consistently cleared and replenished during service hours.
- Deliver food and beverage items discreetly and professionally.
- Proactively present menus to guests.
- Take ownership and feel empowered to contribute within the workplace.
- Communicate guest feedback promptly to the manager on duty for documentation in the Glitch Report.
- Adhere to HACCP and FIFO standards as per regional guidelines.
- Follow hotel evacuation procedures during emergencies.
- Participate in all briefings and training sessions as directed by management.
- Handle financial procedures following finance department policies.
- Identify and resolve potential issues proactively, seeking help before service disruptions occur.
- Undertake additional duties and projects assigned by management across departments as needed.
- Report all negative guest feedback through the glitch system appropriately.
- Comply with the care program continuously and report maintenance issues via the system.
