Description de l'emploi

About Pinterest

Pinterest is a place where millions of people look for ideas, imagine what’s possible, and organize inspiration for the moments they want to create. The company’s goal is to help people build lives they love, and that starts with the teams shaping the product.

This is a career opportunity designed for people who want to contribute, learn, and grow in an environment that values fresh perspectives, collaboration, and flexibility. Pinterest also emphasizes the thoughtful use of AI as a partner in the work process, and candidates should be prepared to discuss both their own approach and how they collaborate with AI tools.

Program Overview

The Pinterest Apprenticeship Program gives people from non-technical backgrounds, as well as those who have faced barriers entering the industry, a chance to gain hands-on experience in research at Pinterest. The apprenticeship can last for up to one year and may lead to consideration for conversion into a full-time Product Researcher role. Employment is at-will, and the company does not guarantee a specific program length.

Applications may close as early as Friday, July 10, 2026 at 5:00pm PDT. The program is scheduled to begin on October 19, 2026.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with Pinterest Product Researchers and stakeholders across Design, Product Management, and Engineering to deliver a meaningful project.
  • Apply qualitative research approaches such as usability testing, one-on-one interviews, and diary studies to uncover user needs and product opportunities.
  • Work closely with an assigned mentor who will help you understand expectations and day-to-day practices for a Product Researcher at Pinterest.
  • Use AI tools to improve workflow efficiency and make cross-functional collaboration smoother and more effective.
  • Take part in learning and development activities that support continuous growth throughout the apprenticeship.

What We’re Looking For

  • People from non-tech backgrounds, including research bootcamp graduates, self-taught candidates, and those without a related degree or prior Product Research experience.
  • Self-driven, proactive professionals who want to build a career in tech and are eager to learn what it takes to succeed as a Product Researcher at Pinterest.
  • A strong learner-and-builder mindset, with the ability to quickly adopt new AI tools and use them thoughtfully across the product development process with attention to quality and efficiency.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with others and communicating clearly in a professional setting is preferred.
  • Applicants must be able to work full-time during business hours; students enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program are not eligible.
  • Working knowledge of qualitative research methods.

The company notes that the ideal work setup may vary by team or role, depending on organizational needs.

The monthly base salary range for this position is $8,910 to $10,450.
