Airport Planner Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an engineer with expertise in Airport Planning to engage in the planning, design, and advancement of airport infrastructure projects. This role involves contributing to internationally significant projects focused on optimizing airport capacity, enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting future expansion plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and assist in projects related to Terminal and Airfield Planning.
• Conduct analyses on airport capacity and passenger demand.
• Execute airport planning studies and perform technical calculations essential for development.
• Assess airspace capacity and demand to support airport operations.
• Contribute to the creation and evaluation of flight procedures.
• Develop comprehensive technical reports, prepare presentations, and document planning processes.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure the successful delivery of airport projects.
• Support business development endeavors, including proposal preparation and technical presentations to clients.
• Engage in meetings with clients, stakeholders, and project collaborators to align project objectives.

Candidate Requirements

• Educational background: Degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Minimum professional experience of one year in Airport Planning or related airport infrastructure projects.
• Valuable experience in designing and planning airport facilities.
• Technical proficiency in airport planning principles, capacity analysis, and airport design standards.
• Awareness of airport regulations and industry standards.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to work within diverse, multidisciplinary, and international teams.
• Willingness and availability to travel within the region, including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, and other countries.
• Language proficiency: English at C1 level or above, both written and spoken. Knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
