Aircraft Mechanic - Trim Specialist (Cabin Workshop)

Position Overview

We are seeking an Aircraft Mechanic specializing in Trim for our Cabin Workshop located in Doha, Qatar. The role focuses on completing maintenance and repair tasks according to approved technical documentation, Qatar Airways standards, and safety protocols, ensuring high-quality operational outcomes within designated timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute assigned maintenance jobs effectively to guarantee customer satisfaction.
• Use appropriate tools and equipment relevant to the workshop to meet task deadlines.
• Interpret technical information across routine activities to maintain ongoing operations with minimal supervision.
• Adhere to company health and safety policies and ensure all team members are aware of safety matters.
• Complete aircraft component rectifications promptly, complying with QCAA/EASA PART-145 regulations and quality benchmarks.
• Lead by example to inspire and motivate colleagues within the department.
• Perform additional department-related duties as directed by department leadership.

Candidate Profile

Applicants should possess a High School diploma, vocational certification, or equivalent with at least three years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with two years of related work experience.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Previous aircraft maintenance experience, including apprenticeships.
• Familiarity with workshop practices and skills associated with the specific work area.
• Ability to independently perform a variety of specialized tasks.
• Understanding of work procedures and equipment operation.
• Proficient English communication skills.
• Problem-solving aptitude and operational control skills.
• Capability to comprehend written operational instructions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic ICAO Type II License.
• Trade-related certificates and reinforcement training.
• Minimum one year of practical experience in a similar technical field or recognized airline workshop.
• Certified aeronautical or technical training credentials.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to handle pressure and perform general maintenance on shop equipment.
