Air Freight Pricing Officer - Freight Forwarding Industry (Immediate Joiners Preferred)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Air Freight Pricing Officer based in T. Nagar, Chennai to handle key operational responsibilities within the freight forwarding sector. The position demands at least two years of hands-on experience in air freight pricing, particularly import and export shipments.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing Agent-to-Agent (A2A) air freight pricing activities effectively.
• Collaborating closely with overseas agents, airline representatives, and WCA network members.
• Handling inquiries related to import and export air freight rates efficiently.
• Developing and disseminating competitive price quotations to clients and partners.
• Fostering and sustaining professional relationships with agents and airline partners to ensure smooth operations.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Possess at least 2 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry.
• Proven expertise in air freight pricing for both imports and exports.
• Familiarity with agent networks and WCA members will be advantageous.
• Demonstrated strong communication and coordination abilities.
• Preparedness to work in rotational shift hours.

Work Schedule

• Shift 1: 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM
• Shift 2: 03:00 PM to 10:00 PM
• Shift 3: 11:00 PM to 08:00 AM
