Role Overview

We are seeking AI Business Consultant Interns to join our AI Value Engineering team located in Singapore. You will engage directly with clients to support their AI transformation efforts by analyzing their business models, financials, and processes to identify opportunities for AI-driven value creation. This role offers an immersive experience throughout the AI value delivery journey—from client analysis and business case formation to prioritization, solution co-creation, and outcome measurement. Candidates will gain exposure to diverse industry projects including transport, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, and energy sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients through research, analysis, and active participation in discussions and workshops to uncover AI-driven value opportunities.
• Dissect client business models, P&L statements, operational workflows, and KPIs to identify pain points and areas for improvement.
• Create structured problem definitions, develop value-driver trees, financial models, and quantitative business cases under team supervision.
• Analyze client and market data to validate hypotheses and underpin recommendations with data-driven insights.
• Convert business challenges into defined AI use cases with measurable success criteria and prioritized roadmaps.
• Collaborate with AI data, systems, product, engineering, and domain experts to evaluate data readiness, feasibility, and delivery factors.
• Support preparation of client proposals, executive summaries, workshop content, and value sharing frameworks.
• Investigate emerging AI technologies, industry standards, competitor activity, and research literature to enrich solution design.
• Facilitate project planning and delivery for pilots, proofs of value, and AI transformation initiatives by coordinating internal teams and client stakeholders.
• Define project milestones, track progress, and highlight issues that require resolution.
• Contribute to the development of reusable methodologies, industry-specific libraries, use-case databases, and templates.
• Leverage advanced AI and analytical tools to enhance research speed, analysis depth, and quality of deliverables.

Candidate Profile

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Operations Research, Finance or comparable quantitative fields.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex problems and translate findings into clear, actionable results.
• Comfortable handling quantitative data, building financial models, and linking KPIs to business value.
• Proficiency with AI research, analytical, and modeling tools highly desirable; solid skills in Excel and PowerPoint mandatory; familiarity with SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau is advantageous.
• Effective communicator capable of teamwork, receptive to coaching, and skilled at producing clear, structured documentation and presentations.
• Curious, meticulous, and willing to deeply explore unfamiliar industries, technologies, and business contexts.
• Prior experience in consulting, analytics, strategy, product, technology projects, or competitions is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Mandarin is a plus but not required.
